Terms and Conditions
The agreement between you and Mar Vista when you book directly with us.
Booking and payment
A booking is confirmed when the 30% deposit is received and we have issued a written confirmation with a booking reference. Bookings made within 30 days of arrival are payable in full at the time of booking.
The balance is charged automatically 30 days before check-in to the card used for the deposit. We send a reminder seven days in advance.
Security deposit
A refundable security bond of $1,000 is pre-authorised on your card seven days before arrival and released within five business days of check-out, provided the property is left in good order.
The bond may be applied to damage, missing items, excessive cleaning, unauthorised additional guests or breaches of the house rules.
Occupancy
Maximum overnight occupancy is eight guests. The guest who makes the booking must be at least 21 years old and must stay at the property for the duration of the booking.
Day visitors are welcome in reasonable numbers, subject to the house rules.
Liability
Guests use the property, including the hot tub, deck and terraced garden, at their own risk. Mar Vista is not liable for loss or damage to personal property, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
If the property becomes unavailable through circumstances beyond our control, our liability is limited to a full refund of amounts paid.
